Rotational brownout in Tacloban City may end tomorrow says Leyeco II

TACLOBAN CITY – Today marks the fourth day of the rotational brownout experienced at the City of Tacloban due to the explosion of a power transformer supplying energy at Leyte Electric Cooperative (Leyeco) II’s Feather 2 hitting the downtown area of the city.

According to Leyeco II, the power shedding was done these past few days so that the power outage will not just be concentrated on one feather only and to supply energy to the city’s central business area as events for the upcoming city fiesta has already kicked off.

Leyeco II is aiming to finish fixing the damage and to fully restore power tomorrow, June 23.
